Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design: Collaborating with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing data to determine the viability of projects.
• Structural Analysis and Design: Designing and analyzing the structural components of buildings, bridges, dams, and other infrastructure to ensure they can withstand loads and environmental conditions.
• Construction Management: Supervising construction activities to ensure projects are built according to design specifications, budget constraints, and within established timelines. Managing construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Site Investigation: Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data on soil conditions, topography, and other site-specific factors that can impact construction.
• Environmental Considerations: Incorporating environmental sustainability practices into designs and construction methods to minimize the impact on natural resources and ecosystems.
• Project Documentation: Creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports that outline the technical requirements for construction projects.
• Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Estimating project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses, and managing budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks and challenges that could impact project success and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that construction projects comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.
• Infrastructure Maintenance and Rehabilitation: Monitoring the condition of existing infrastructure and recommending maintenance or rehabilitation strategies to extend their lifespan.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Communicating technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
