Qualification, Skills And Experience Required. Consultant Qualification: Postgraduate University degree in Social or Natural Sciences or other relevant discipline, preferably with a specialization in gender and project cycle management. At least 5 years’ experience of conducting qualitative research and use of qualitative methodology and analysis. At least 5 years working in the field of social analysis and development, particularly with regards to gender, social inclusion, development, education. Knowledge and familiarity with education systems and systems strengthening. Prior experience working with projects of similar scope and size. Prior experience in system level gender equity and social inclusion analysis including policy analysis, implementation analysis and supervision systems. Previous experience in gender and social inclusion analysis focusing education outcomes. Previous experience working in West Africa or Ghana preferable. Core Competencies/Skills: Integrity keeper, professional and has respect for diversity (social, cultural, religious etc.). Results orientated, transparent and accountable. Skilled planner, organizer and team player. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including government officials.
