Qualification And Competencies: Undergraduate degree (BA OR BSC HONS) in Agriculture, Engineering, Forestry or Development. Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business, Management Preferred. In-depth knowledge and experience of Good Agricultural Hygiene Practices (GAHP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) with ability to train staff and inculcate these systems and practices into new work environments. Management experience of a food production/processing facility. Experience and Knowledge of different certification systems (Organic, UEBT, HACCP, RA, and any ISOs). Operations and Production Management, Systems, Product Flow in Food processing facilities. Facility Management (including warehouse, greenhouse management experience). Familiarity with and good knowledge of Sustainability, Agriculture and Development programs. Staff management and supervisory skills and experience. Knowledge and experience in Agricultural Extension and farmer training (includes GAP and GACP). Experience and Knowledge of Good Warehousing Practices (including management, record keeping, hygiene and reconciliation). Desirable: Fluent Twi/Fante. Excellent verbal and written English communication and facilitation skills. Experience of rural business/RECON/production/processing line Essential. Line Management experience. Team orientation and team building with good inter-personal skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office-Excel and Word. Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and multiple deadlines. Full Driver’s License (MOTORBIKES, TRUCKS AND CARS).
