Minimum qualification: Degree in Geology/ Geological Engineering/ Earth Science or relevant discipline. AUSIMM/AIG / SAIMM / WAIMM affiliated or similar industry member. Minerals Commission Statutory Certification for Geologist. Valid Ghanaian Driver's (minimum license B). Experience: 5 years working experience with 3 years in a similar role. A proven track record in gold mining operations as well as exploration experience. Demonstrated previous adherence and maximum commitment to following safety protocols and promoting workplace safety. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Safety Management Systems. Sound knowledge of risk management and loss prevention processes. Knowledge of using Micomine, MapInfo, or MPR will be an added advantage. Strong presentation, organizational and communication skills.
