Qualifications: HND/Technical training or certification in welding is preferred. 5 years of experience working as a welder in a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environment. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and oxy-acetylene welding. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and materials, such as welding machines, electrodes, filler metals, and shielding gases. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation, with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to welding operations. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks, including lifting and manipulating heavy materials.
