Job Description/Requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Children's Hairstyling: Perform hairstyling, hair washing, and grooming services for children of various ages. Stay updated on current children's hairstyle trends and techniques. 2. Consultation: Consult with parents and children to understand their preferences and desired hairstyles. Provide expert advice on suitable hairstyles based on hair type, face shape, and lifestyle. 3. Customer Engagement: Create a welcoming and child-friendly atmosphere in the salon. Interact with children in a friendly and patient manner to ensure a positive salon experience. 4. Haircare Education: Educate parents and children on proper hair care practices, including washing, conditioning and styling tips. Recommend kid-friendly hair care products as needed. 5. Safety and Comfort: Ensure the safety and comfort of children during hair-cutting and styling procedures. Use child-friendly tools and equipment to minimize any discomfort. 6. Creative Hairstyling: Showcase creativity by offering a variety of fun and imaginative hairstyles suitable for children. Experiment with braids, twists, ponytails, and other age-appropriate styles. 7. Maintain a Clean and Organized Salon: Keep the workstation clean, sanitized, and well-organized. Adhere to salon cleanliness and safety standards. Qualifications and Skills: Specialize in Hair braiding, Styling, Treatment, Locking, Coloring. Ability to speak English. Proven experience as a hairstylist, with a focus on children's hair. Knowledge of various children's hairstyles and age-appropriate trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents. Patience and the ability to create a positive and engaging salon experience for children. Note: Candidates must live around Dome, Achimota, Lapaz, Haatso, Christian Village, Atomic and its environs. Salary: Gh700 Working hours: 8am-6pm with one day off.
